Fiddlesticks: repeat Crowstorm and grow a nightmare board

Fiddlesticks · from r/LegendsOfRuneterra · 2026-10-14

A spell-focused alternative that uses champion copies, repeated summons and duplicated spells to build pressure.

Build

Needs 6★Champion level 30

Overview

Fiddlesticks can play a spell-control plan rather than relying on a particular premium ping package. The spell build runs Echoing Spirit, Harmless Scarecrow and Chemtech Duplicator, a loadout with guide builds and 10★ clears behind it. The aim is to develop a nightmare board while repeated spells and Terrify control the enemy. The six-star power adds defensive Gloom and allied Spirit when you Terrify.

The build

Chemtech Duplicator

When you play a spell, if you have 6+ mana gems, copy it with the same targets.

Copying spells once you reach six mana gems multiplies the control and summons available from the spell engine.

Echoing Spirit

Game Start: Create 7 copies of me in deck. Champion Spells cost 1 less.

More champion copies help access the champion spell repeatedly once your champion is in play.

Harmless Scarecrow

Power: When you play a card that costs 3+ mana, Terrify 1. While the enemy deck has 15 or fewer cards, allies have +2|+2 and Overwhelm.

Three-cost-or-higher plays supply Terrify, while the low-deck aura makes the resulting board a stronger combat threat.

How to play

Bank the first round, then use Crowstorm on the next round when its level upgrades make that opening possible; Reap is the fallback when the main spell is absent. Check the costs and items at your current champion level before copying that opening.

Once the champion appears, additional copies in hand become more champion spells. At six mana gems those casts are copied. Keep using the spell engine to control enemies and develop attackers; combat damage often finishes the fight before milling does.

Drafting and alternatives

Players disagree about how essential premium ping relics are. At low stars, this spell loadout won't clear every Nightmare. Avoid assuming the six-star defensive effect is available at three stars.

Players favoring the ping package draft inexpensive created units and Game Start summons. That's a different plan from this spell loadout. Norra's Portal Accelerator grants Impact to created allies, not every ally; having an existing Impact stack does not make every additional stack a separate Terrify event. The constellation upgrade granting Spirit and Impact to drafted followers also changes the value of that slot. Assess the entire package rather than adding one relic and expecting the same opening.

Before six mana gems, Chemtech Duplicator is inactive. Keep enough cheap defense to reach it; the six-star Gloom helps manage large enemies but is unavailable in a low-star comparison.

Star-power checkpoint

Bountiful Harvest

When you Terrify, grant enemies Gloom and grant a random ally 2 Spirit.
