Lux: Illuminated — Baton tempo and Axe Rally
Lux: Illuminated · from the PoC community · 2026-10-14
Use an extra starting mana gem and a drawn support follower to build a
Spirit chain, then
Rally for another boosted attack.
Build
Overview
Develop
Lux: Illuminated and a support chain early, then use
Fear-Cleaving Axe and
Crownguard Inheritance for two growing attacks.
Lux's Incandescent Baton supplies starting mana and an opening follower, giving the attack engine more help getting on board.
This trio leads her collected player-build scores. Her existing guide uses
Greenglade Shadeleaf in the Baton slot to make the supported attacker
Elusive. Choose this version for earlier development, and keep that option when avoiding blockers matters more than an extra opening resource.
The build
Lux's Incandescent Baton
On this champion the Power gives +1 starting mana. At Game Start it also draws a follower costing two or less and grants it
Targon's Brace. The item adds a Support stat grant, helping that follower contribute to a growing attack chain. The draw is random among eligible followers, not a guaranteed
Luminosprite tutor.
Fear-Cleaving Axe
Spirit starts the champion with a stack, and her attacks Boost all units. That increases existing stackable keywords such as
Spirit and
Impact. It does not grant every missing keyword, and it also affects enemies with stackable keywords.
Crownguard Inheritance
When she levels,
Rally. Aim to level during an attack after spending your token, then use the next attack to Boost and support again. The trio needs the third Rare slot at level 30 and two epic upgrades.
How to play
Keep the champion and
Luminosprite when possible, then use the Baton draw and mana to fill out the opening. At two stars plus Baton, you can afford the three-cost champion on the first round, but playing her alone is not automatically your best attack. Build enough units to make her Support effect and the keyword level condition matter.
Order the attackers with
Lux: Illuminated immediately left of
Luminosprite, then another useful attacker to its right. The first support adds stacks to the sprite; the sprite passes its positive keywords and stacks to the next ally for the round. Protect the chain with
Prismatic Barrier when the trade needs it.
Watch her level progress. An attack that levels her can
Rally into another Axe attack, but a
Stun or
Recall can break the chain before that payoff. On defending rounds, keep a
Barrier for the blocker you need instead of spending every target spell just to add stacks.
Drafting and alternatives
Favor affordable units, champion draw and spells that target your own allies. Early summoned units help complete the support chain without spending all your opening mana. More large followers can clog the hand when your first priority is assembling three useful attackers.
Greenglade Shadeleaf provides the
Elusive route used in her other guide.
Tempest Blade can open the level-up attack window by
Stun enemies. If enemy removal repeatedly breaks the chain, protection may be worth more than the fastest possible
Rally finish; the Baton version does not promise a first-turn kill against every modifier.
Star-power checkpoint
Light Guides Us II at three stars grants
Spirit and
Impact when an ally is targeted or supported, supplying stacks for Boost and the support chain. Two-star
Inspiring Presence supplies starting mana and the recurring
Barrier. The six-star attack refill is a bonus; the opening Baton mana doesn't depend on it.
