Darius: Titanic mana and copied frontline attackers

Darius · from community builds · 2026-10-18

Start with extra mana, use six-star attacks to develop allies, then copy a follower while Darius survives combat.

At a glance

Needs 6★Champion level 30

Overview

Use extra starting mana to develop your first attackers, then let The Hand of Noxus summon another ally whenever your board attacks. When Darius eventually joins the field, copy an attacking follower and keep him safe through combat.

This is a six-star attack engine rather than the passive deck-stat build. You trade some protection and draft utility for a faster mana opening and a larger champion-led attack. The other units still need to carry the early fights; drawing the champion doesn't make him immediately affordable.

The build

Starforged Gauntlets

The starting-mana effect needs Titanic at Game Start. Darius has six base Power, so the two Power from Spectral Scissors meets the eight-Power threshold before combat. A later attack buff cannot retroactively activate the starting-mana effect.

Spectral Scissors

Support a follower to grant it Ephemeral and summon an exact copy attacking. This adds another attacker and repeats that follower's applicable summon effects. It cannot copy a champion. Put the intended follower immediately to the champion's right.

Death's Foil

The champion cannot take damage or die while attacking. This protects the body that needs to survive for later copied attacks, but it doesn't make his supported follower permanent or prevent all enemy disruption.

Opening and attacks

Mulligan for an affordable opening board. With the separately owned Manaflow node and the Gauntlets, you start with four mana gems; without that node you have one fewer. Spend the mana you actually have rather than assuming the sixth star includes every other upgrade.

The first ally you play each round receives the three-star Power and Overwhelm bonus. Use that attacker to help reach the fifteen-total-Power Rally condition. The six-star summon uses your mana gems, so more starting gems improve its pool even before the champion arrives.

The Rally is once per round. Extra attacks can summon more allies, but they don't grant a fresh fifteen-Power Rally every time. Leave board space for both the attack summon and any copied follower. Once the champion is in play, arrange the supported follower before committing your attack.

Drafting and limits

Favor useful followers, free attacks and Scout opportunities that let the sixth-star power trigger again. Cheap units still matter because they establish the first attack while the champion is expensive. Choose an affordable support package instead of adding another late finisher by default.

Avoid supporting a follower you need as a permanent defender unless the attack is worth losing it. Foil protects its bearer during an attack; Stun, Recall and removal outside combat remain relevant. A crowded board can waste the next summon, so trade expendable bodies when that improves the following attack.

Relic alternatives

If the champion arrives too late to justify his attack relic, the existing passive build invests more in the whole deck. Keeping the Gauntlets and Scissors while using Stacked Deck instead of Foil also shifts value toward your earlier units; the champion loses his combat protection.

The Gauntlets come from the Glory Store, while Scissors and Foil come from Gold Reliquaries. If you lack the pair that makes the champion Titanic, don't equip an inactive mana relic expecting the same opening.
