Example guide: Payload Jinx
Jinx · by Runeterra Guide (example) · 2026-10-13
A sample guide showing what the guide editor makes. Everything in it comes from the site's game data and the community builds credited at the end, not from one player's runs.
Build

The Scourge's Stashin 6 of 22 player builds
Guardian Angelin 6 of 22 player buildsWhy Jinx
Jinx is rated Easy and Aggressive, and Runeterra Relics rates her Excellent (9/10). Her whole plan is one idea: empty your hand fast.
- Her level-up text is simply "I see your hand is empty."
- Her first star power,
What's the Worst that Could Happen?, deals 1 to the enemy Nexus every time you play or discard a card. - When she levels up with
Wreak Havoc, you get a
Super Mega Death Rocket! in hand: 3 to the enemy Nexus and 1 to every enemy.
The build
The Loose Cannon's Payload
The core of almost every
Jinx build: it's in 19 of the 22 builds players shared on LoR Relics and in all three recorded 10★ clears shown on her Builds tab. When she's summoned you discard your hand and get that many
Pow-Pow instead, so:
- your hand is empty, so
Jinx levels up straight away; - every discarded card triggers
What's the Worst that Could Happen?; - the Pow-Pows you get are 2-mana spells that deal 3 to a unit.
The Scourge's Stash
Plunder: I cost 2 less.
Jinx hits the enemy Nexus easily, so she comes down earlier.
Guardian Angel
+0|+2,
Deathless and +2 Revives for the whole adventure. The safe third slot, used in the highest-level recorded clear (level 48, Scourge's Stash + Payload +
Guardian Angel).
Swaps
Price of Retribution and
Voidborne Carapace: the "Zombie
Jinx" build, where
Jinx keeps dying and coming back to trigger Payload again.
Packed Powder: cheaper
Jinx that grows each round you hit the Nexus.
Big Guns: +1 damage on every spell and skill, strong with a hand full of Pow-Pows.
No Payload yet? It's a reward from
Garen's 2★ campaign.
The Scourge's Stash comes from
Lee Sin's 2★ campaign, and
Guardian Angel from
Silver Reliquary, Platinum and Diamond Vaults.
Star powers in order
What's the Worst that Could Happen?: the damage engine.
Wreak Havoc: +1 starting mana, and a rocket on level-up.
What's the Worst that Could Happen? II: the same ping, plus 1 to a random enemy.
Sorcery: refill your spell mana every round, more Pow-Pows.
Manaflow: a mana gem at game start.
Get Jinxed!: double damage for spells and skills.
Stars 4 and 5 need
Star Crystals from Piltover & Zaun; see the Farm tab on Jinx's page for where to get them.
