Jack: mana refills and repeated protected attacks

Jack · from r/LegendsOfRuneterra · 2026-10-14

Refill mana to damage the board and buff allies, then use cheap created bodies to continue combat.

Build

Needs 3★Champion level 30

Overview

Jack uses mana refills to buff the team and damage enemies, then copies useful supported units. These three relics support the combat sequence below; a healing-Rally plan is the main alternative. Keep those engines separate when choosing relics.

The build

Death's Foil

+1|+0
While I'm attacking, I can't take damage or die.

Attack protection keeps the champion available for repeated combats. It protects during attacks; do not assume it prevents every removal effect outside combat.

Condenser

Support: Create a 1 cost 1|1 copy of my supported ally in hand.

Chosen by the Stars

Fated, Augment
Empowered 10: Overwhelm, Regeneration, and Challenger.

Ally targeting and created-card plays build champion stats. Its ten-power threshold turns that scaling into combat reach and resilience; inspect the threshold before relying on those keywords.

How to play

Mulligan for Pocket Picker or Mad Ol' Babs to start developing useful bodies and mana. Use Prize Fight before Coin when reducing an enemy to one health lets the refill ping finish it. Spend stored coins when they improve the turn rather than delaying useful plays just to level the champion.

Death's Foil makes the champion safe from damage and death while attacking, so a strike spell during combat can help remove threats. Condenser creates cheap supported copies for later turns; it can copy useful followers in the Rally chain. Chosen by the Stars rewards targeting and created-card plays, but needs ten Power for its Empowered keywords.

Drafting and alternatives

Use your cards efficiently: the starting deck lacks reliable draw. Keep enough mana to use the generated bodies and interaction; a cheap supported copy still costs mana to play. The Grand General's Counterplan and Chemtech Duplicator instead build around recurring champion spells at six gems.

That plan runs Celestial Staff / Twin Drakehounds / Sentinel's Plate. Healing him with coins earns a Rally, but it's debatable whether the multi-attack damage is worth the slot. One suggests Whirling Blade for earlier damage. This guide's three relics don't give a healing-triggered Rally.

Star-power checkpoint

Tip the Scales II

When you refill mana, give allies +1|+0 this round and deal 1 to all enemies.
