Miss Fortune: spell mana and repeated champion-spell removal

Miss Fortune · from r/LegendsOfRuneterra · 2026-10-14

A rare-relic spell plan that repeatedly produces removal while the board and attack triggers supply damage.

Build

Needs 3★Champion level 30

Overview

Miss Fortune can use a spell-focused rare-relic plan alongside her attack swarm. On a budget, recurring champion spells and spell mana do the work, with spell-and-Skill amplification in the third slot. Keep her alive to produce removal while your attacks develop the damage engine.

The build

The Grand General's Counterplan

Round Start: Create a Fleeting copy of me in hand.

The recurring champion copy supplies a champion spell while she is alive, or a replacement champion after removal.

Luden's Tempest

All of your spells and skills deal 1 extra damage.

Additional damage applies to the spells and attack Skill the deck already uses.

Archangel's Staff

Round Start: Refill your spell mana.

A fresh spell-mana refill each round funds the repeated removal plan.

How to play

Develop cheap attackers and protect the champion when you can. Once she is on board, the recurring copy becomes Make it Rain. Spend the refreshed spell mana on threats that would otherwise block or kill your attackers, then attack to use the deck’s attack triggers.

The two-star attack draw is useful for aggression but can be dangerous when the adventure punishes drawing. Six stars greatly improves combat-time spell and Skill damage; this three-star checkpoint is the budget engine, not the premium build's first-turn finish.

Drafting and alternatives

The aggressive signature plan is Shock & Awe, Packed Powder and Spirit of the Buhru. Use it as a different low-cost attack plan when available. The rare spell loadout above is slower than the signature plan.

Another option is Corrupted Star Fragment with The Grand General's Counterplan and a flexible third relic. Consume a disposable Powder Monkey to grow the champion and free a slot, then use the recurring champion spell. This is a taller champion plan than simply filling the board with inexpensive attackers.

The six-star bonus applies during either player's combat. In that upgraded version, holding damage spells for an enemy attack can be better than using every spell beforehand. A full board of fragile one-cost attackers is still poor defense if the initial attack fails to end the game; draft control or reserve useful spell mana.
