Nami: recurring champion spells into copied healing and buffs
Nami · from r/LegendsOfRuneterra · 2026-10-14
Repeated champion spells provide healing, damage and allied buffs once the spell engine is established.
Build
Overview
Nami's recurring champion spells provide healing, damage and allied buffs once she is established. The Echoing, Counterplan and Chemtech combination is a popular pick. Six mana gems enable its largest spell output, so surviving and funding the opening remain important. The long spell chain also takes time to execute.
The build
Echoing Spirit
Game Start: Create 7 copies of me in deck. Champion Spells cost 1 less.
More champion copies improve access to the engine and its champion spell. Copies in hand become spells while the champion is on board; the spell discount makes repeated casts easier.
The Grand General's Counterplan
Round Start: Create a
Fleeting copy of me in hand.
The recurring copy gives a champion spell while the champion is alive, or a replacement champion if it is removed. Keep enough mana to use the copy before
Fleeting removes it.
Chemtech Duplicator
When you play a spell, if you have 6+ mana gems, copy it with the same targets.
The payoff starts at six mana gems. Once active, a spell produces another cast with the same targets; until then this slot does not improve your opening.
How to play
Develop
Nami and preserve her on board so the recurring champion copy becomes
Ebb. Use the linked healing-and-damage spell chain to improve your board while stabilizing health. At three stars each spell restores spell mana and the fourth spell of the round is copied.
Track the spell counter: reserve a useful spell for the copied fourth cast rather than accidentally doubling a low-value action. At six mana gems the duplication relic adds another cast, so avoid overflowing your hand as the recurring copies accumulate.
Nami has three star powers, so this plan is complete at three stars.
Drafting and alternatives
Wild Inspiration and
Spellslinger make the repeated spell chain easier to fund. Inexpensive bodies or Game Start summons provide allies to receive buffs. Keep useful blockers rather than assembling only spells.
Some events reach six mana gems unusually quickly; in normal adventures it takes longer. Protect
Nami to retain the recurring spell engine, and check remaining hand space before producing more copies.
Star-power checkpoint
When you play a spell, gain 1 spell mana. If it's your 4th spell this round, copy it with the same targets.
