Neeko: subtypes into a boosted Overwhelm attack

Neeko develops a board of different subtypes and repeats her champion spell to create extra attackers. This six-star attack plan uses keyword boosts and team Overwhelm, while other players prefer random epic-item engines. Community opinions on her strength differ; big enemies and defensive turns remain important constraints.

Echoing Spirit

More champion copies and cheaper champion spells support Shapesplitter. Repeated copies help fill the attacking board rather than requiring a lucky duplication item.

Fear-Cleaving Axe

Boost stackable keywords when Neeko attacks. Extra champion bodies can participate in repeated boosts once the board is established; do not assume it creates those bodies itself.

The Beast Within

Gives allies Overwhelm and adds stats to subtyped units. Overwhelm matters when the six-star attack skill removes a blocker: your attacker can still deal Nexus damage.

Plan the first discounted unit each round around the subtypes already on your board. The three-star discount is once per round, not a refund for every new subtype. Establish Neeko and useful subtype allies, then use Shapesplitter to copy a body and prepare an attack.

The sixth-star Pop Blossom damage scales with the number of attacking allies that have a subtype. One ally with several subtypes counts as one attacker for that damage. Different subtypes matter separately for Neeko's level-up condition. Do not mix those two counts. Attack when the skill and Overwhelm can make progress, and retain enough defense for surviving large enemies.

Seek cheap subtype units and tools that delay large enemies, such as Stun, Frostbite or Capture. A board wipe of small blockers does not prevent a huge enemy from attacking back.

The Echoing Spirit plus two Guardian's Orb alternative repeatedly adds random epic items through champion-spell copies. It's a different engine from this attack plan, with more item variance. Oath of the Guardians and Star Gem are another champion-focused approach discussed alongside subtype builds.

Pop Blossom! makes Pop Blossom deal one damage to all enemies and their Nexus, increased by one for each attacking subtyped ally. This six-star plan uses this skill; subtype diversity for level-up is a separate requirement.
