Nidalee: level up into stuns and a Rally
Nidalee · from community builds · 2026-10-18
Refill spell mana from the Ambush opening, advance the level-up with summons and transforms, then attack into a
Stun board.
At a glance
Overview
Use
Nidalee's level-up as a control window:
Stun the enemy board and gain an attack token, then connect with a transformed attacker. This all-Rare/Common approach avoids relying on the random follower support chain.
Three stars supplies an exact
Ephemeral copy on the first allied transformation each round. That helps build the board and level-up progress, but it doesn't copy every transformation. The plan still needs actual summons or transforms, safe attacks and enough mana to reveal the Ambush unit.
The build
Tempest Blade
Level-up
Stun all enemies, opening a combat window or stopping an enemy attack when the timing allows. It isn't an unconditional board
Stun every time you play the champion.
Crownguard Inheritance
Level-up grants a
Rally. Spend an existing attack when that is useful before earning another token; gaining a
Rally while you already hold the attack token doesn't store a second one for later.
Lost Chapter
Play refills spell mana and can fund the Ambush reveal after playing the bush form. A transformation is not itself another Play, so don't expect it to refill spell mana each time the champion changes form.
Set up the level-up
Mulligan for the champion and cheap useful allies. Play her as the Ambush bush and use the supplied spell mana to reveal her when the board and attack timing are favorable. At three stars, that first transformation can create an
Ephemeral copy.
Keep count of the other allies she has seen summoned or transformed. The condition needs four, so revealing the first bush doesn't by itself guarantee a level-up. Develop cheap allies or use
Clever Camouflage on a follower when it advances the plan safely.
When the level-up arrives, the
Stun and
Rally relics create your opening. Attack with a board that can use it rather than triggering the level-up with no useful attackers. If you level during the opponent's attack, inspect which attackers remain relevant and whether the surviving board can use your
Rally afterward.
Keep transforming and connecting
The leveled champion needs to strike the enemy Nexus to return to her earlier form. Repeating the cycle requires that connection; an intercepted or removed attacker can't simply start the same loop again.
Overwhelm, suitable evasion or more control can help you keep it going.
Watch the
Ephemeral copy's lifetime and leave board space before expecting another summon. A copied leveled unit isn't automatically another unused level-up trigger. Track which body you intend to preserve and which can trade away.
Targeted removal, repeated
Frostbite and mass disruption remain serious limits.
Stun enemies can be replaced or supplemented with new blockers before you attack. Keep the final relevant answer for the actual attack window rather than treating the first
Stun as guaranteed lethal damage.
Drafting and a mana alternative
Prioritize inexpensive allies, transforms, useful protection and a way for the champion to connect. The two Rare relics are in the Rare pool and the Chapter in the Common pool; level twenty-five provides the two Rare slots and Common slot needed for this setup.
Hidden Tome can replace the
Stun slot when champion level-ups need to replenish spell mana repeatedly. It doesn't replace the initial bush Play refill from
Lost Chapter, because the bush isn't a champion Play. Keep the
Stun version when controlling the next combat is more valuable than another refill.
