Soraka: heal damaged allies into large attackers
Soraka · from r/LegendsOfRuneterra · 2026-10-14
Take survivable damage, heal it and convert actual healing into permanent stats and a
Rally finish.
Build
Overview
Soraka needs a survivable early board before healing becomes useful; players disagree on how much she depends on signature relics. This is a three-star rare build:
The Berserker's Buckle,
Troll King's Crown and
Crownguard Inheritance. It grows a durable champion and adds a combat finish; it does not assume the premium repeat-rally package.
The build
The Berserker's Buckle
When I survive damage, grant me +2|+2.
Surviving damage produces permanent stats. Take survivable hits rather than sacrificing the champion before the trigger can pay off.
Troll King's Crown
Allies have
Overwhelm.
Team
Overwhelm provides combat reach so that a growing board can finish instead of repeatedly trading into small blockers.
Crownguard Inheritance
When I level up,
Rally.
The level-up gives an attack token. Time the level-up around a ready board so that the
Rally becomes damage rather than an unused token.
How to play
Develop a unit that can survive damage, then heal a damaged ally. The three-star power grants stats based on healing with its stated cap; healing a full-health ally does not count as healing damage. The survival-buff relic adds a second stat engine when the champion survives hits.
Use
Overwhelm to convert the growing board into damage. A level-up
Rally is valuable with ready attackers; do not waste it by leveling after your useful units are already committed or exhausted. At six stars accumulated healing also produces a free removal spell, but this rare-relic plan does not require that upgrade.
Drafting and alternatives
Keep
Soraka, a cheap durable ally and a heal that answers actual damage. Attack only into damage you can survive; Health-based growth does nothing for a unit killed before you heal it.
Hush is valuable interaction against a large or heavily keyworded threat.
Without signatures,
Strength of Stone is an alternative that converts Health into Strike damage. This changes how you value injured attackers: heal them before relying on their full damage. The slower rare setup still needs enough Nexus reach to finish.
A premium route runs
Celestial Staff and
Cruel Experiments with
Found Fortune. The played-champion draw can supply a free ally to support, and the self-damage setup gives the healing engine something to restore. Drafted cards can compete for that draw, so keep the eligible two-cost units in your deck and avoid competing two-cost spells.
That premium route has different triggers from this build's level-up
Rally. Repeated attacks need a fresh qualifying heal/trigger; this rare loadout alone does not promise an infinite attack chain.
Star-power checkpoint
When you heal a damaged ally, grant it +1|+1 for each point of healing (up to a max of +3|+3).
