Spirit Blossom Evelynn: Baton setup and Chosen charm

Spirit Blossom Evelynn · from the PoC community · 2026-10-14

Find early fodder, discount the champion and turn created cards into the stats and Challenger needed to steal enemies.

Build

Needs 6★Champion level 30

Overview

Lux's Incandescent Baton finds a small follower, Disciple of Shadows discounts the champion behind your early board, and Chosen by the Stars turns targeting and created-card plays into growth. Reaching ten Power unlocks Challenger for the champion’s health-based Charm.

It's her most popular combination in guide builds and 10★ clears. Early champion access and health growth are the priorities. This version replaces the existing health-and-spell-mana plan with setup consistency and a created-card engine.

The build

Lux's Incandescent Baton

At Game Start, draw a follower costing two or less and grant it Targon's Brace. The item grants stats to its supported ally. The extra starting mana is restricted to the relic’s named champions; it does not apply here. The relic also does not give the follower a copying item.

Disciple of Shadows

Each ally in play discounts the carrier by one. Playing her deals three to all other allies, so use expendable bodies or allies that survive the damage. Count the board after paying for those bodies rather than assuming every draw gives a turn-one champion.

Chosen by the Stars

Fated rewards targeting her once per round, while Augment rewards playing created cards. At ten Power she gains Challenger, Overwhelm and Regeneration. Health still has to exceed the challenged enemy’s Health to Charm it.

Pair it with Wild Inspiration to discount created cards. Level 30 and three Epic slot upgrades equip the trio; the rune needs its separate unlock.

How to play

Keep Spirit Blossom Evelynn, cheap setup units and health interaction. Baton can find Shadow Swindler or Fated Supplicant; the latter needs a sacrifice to use its Play effect. Do not spend every blocker merely to discount the champion.

Build Power through created cards and Health through effects such as Spirit's Embrace. Attack without challenging when you need her to strike. When she challenges an enemy with less Health, she leaves combat and Charm it attacking; she does not both steal that unit and strike in the same combat.

Other allies’ strikes create or discount Beckoning Gaze. It Charm followers, whereas the champion’s own challenge can Charm an eligible enemy champion. Plan to kill or otherwise keep temporary stolen units before they return, using the deck’s sacrifice tools after taking useful attacks.

Drafting and alternatives

Take cheap created-card access, health buffs, protection and disposable summons. If you acquire Spirit Stone on a one-cost follower, Wild Inspiration can make its created Fleeting copies free. That repeatable play engine needs the actual copying item and sufficient hand/board space: Baton’s starting item does not create it automatically.

Hidden Tome or Archangel's Staff helps pay for Charm spells. The existing Strength of Stone plan uses Health for combat damage instead. That changes how your own summoned units fight, while this build keeps the Power gained through Augment.

Star-power checkpoint

Six-star Throes of Passion gives a stolen enemy Overwhelm and doubles its Power for the round, supporting the stolen-attacker finish. Four-star Bathe in Blood turns ally deaths into Health for allies in hand, and three-star Be Mine II starts generated Gaze at six cost. At lower stars, early champion development and Chosen growth still work, but stolen attackers lack the six-star burst described here.
