Spirit Blossom Teemo: rare relics and a Nexus-damage trap engine

Spirit Blossom Teemo · from r/LegendsOfRuneterra · 2026-10-14

An accessible relic loadout for spreading traps and recycling enemy cards.

Build

Needs 3★Champion level 30

Overview

Spirit Blossom Teemo recycles trapped enemy cards into discounted Fleeting cards. This is a rare-only relic alternative, paired with Puffcap Proliferation. Important: that rune responds to Nexus damage, so unit-damage relics don't activate it by themselves. Rune access is still required even though the relic slots are accessible.

The build

Greenglade Shadeleaf

Support: Grant my supported ally Elusive.

Granting Elusive to the supported ally helps an attacker reach the Nexus and sustain the trap engine.

Archangel's Staff

Round Start: Refill your spell mana.

Repeated spell mana helps spend the cheap Fleeting cards generated as enemy traps activate.

The Grand General's Counterplan

Round Start: Create a Fleeting copy of me in hand.

A recurring champion copy provides either a replacement champion or access to more champion spells.

Puffcap Proliferation

When you damage the enemy Nexus, plant that many Poison Puffcap in the enemy deck.

Use Nexus damage to feed this rune. A unit-damage effect is not a substitute for its stated trigger.

How to play

Use Puffcap Pup and Yoink! to establish the trap/stolen-card plan while keeping blockers. After a trap activates, inspect the generated card’s new cost and use it before Fleeting removes it. Stolen-card plays add more traps through the two-star power.

Attack with Teemo supporting the ally you want to make Elusive. If you later unlock the sixth star, dense trap draws can force another enemy draw and create a chain; the three-star build doesn't count on that chain.

Drafting and alternatives

Players agree the rune is a major engine improvement, but not on how it ranks late in a run. Hidden Tome is a mana alternative, and Guardian Angel adds protection. This rare loadout is a budget option, not a build for every adventure.

Recurring champion spells with The Grand General's Counterplan and Archangel's Staff also work. Greenglade Shadeleaf lets a stolen attacker get through to the Nexus. The rune needs that Nexus damage; the signature Mischiefmaker's Flute has a different, champion-damage trigger. Do not apply the signature's broader trigger to the rune.

Careful: Big Guns and Luden's Tempest boost spells and Skill, not every instance of champion ability damage. Damage from a printed card ability does not gain the bonus simply because it resembles a ping. Galeforce no longer Recall: it shuffles its champion into the deck at Round End.

Star-power checkpoint

I'll Take That Too

When one of your traps activates, create an exact Fleeting copy of the trapped card in hand and reduce its cost by twice the number of traps on it.
