Spirit Blossom Yasuo: free spells into Portal Pals
Spirit Blossom Yasuo · from the PoC community · 2026-10-14
Gather Storm with created spells, build item-enhanced Conduits and turn the champion’s summon into two deeply discounted units.
Build
Overview
Play affordable cards to Gather Storm, discount your Conduits and bring down the expensive champion.
Perfect Hex Core and
Spellweaver's Symphony provide cheap spell fuel;
Portal Pals supplies follow-up units once he arrives.
It's his most popular trio in 10★ clears and guide builds. Compared with the Tome and Windblade guide, it trades extra starting mana and champion-play refills for free-card generation and a larger summon payoff. Your early board still needs to survive before that payoff is available.
The build
Perfect Hex Core
Round Start creates
Hex Core Upgrade, lets it target any ally and gives it the spell version of
Stopwatch. This makes a zero-cost Burst play that helps Gather Storm. You need an allied target; four-star opening units help, but are not the only way to supply one.
Spellweaver's Symphony
Gaining the attack token creates a random free,
Fleeting two-cost spell from your regions. Check its legal targets before planning a chain around it. More attacks without gaining a token do not generate another spell.
Portal Pals and
Windborne Remains
Summoning the carrier creates two random seven-cost-or-more units from your regions, discounted by his base cost of fifteen even if you paid much less. The rune gives played cost-reduced units +3|+3. That bonus requires playing the unit, rather than summoning it directly. Level 30 and three Epic upgrades equip the relic trio.
How to play
Keep affordable plays,
Arisen Soul and useful card generation. Play a cheap support champion when you can: two stars draws a card and makes it a Storm Conduit, providing another card to discount. The champion himself cannot become a Conduit, but his cost falls as you Gather Storm.
Use free spells on meaningful targets, then play a useful discounted Conduit to continue building the hand. At six stars, cards receive an Epic item when they become Conduits. Inspect those items before deciding what to play; the reward is random and can change your sequence.
Commune With Spirits gives access to another follower and Conduit. Once
Spirit Blossom Yasuo is affordable, summoning him
Obliterate the strongest enemy and triggers
Portal Pals. Check board and hand space before playing the generated units. A champion duplicate may become a champion spell while its matching champion is in play.
Drafting and alternatives
Take cheap useful cards, draw and enough payoff units to exploit the discounts. Do not keep passing with a weak board solely to make the main champion cheaper.
Wild Inspiration is a different supported rune that discounts created cards, favoring more small generated-card chains over the listed unit-stat payoff.
Frozen Tomb replacing Symphony offers a delayed direct summon that still triggers
Portal Pals and the champion's summon removal, but does not count as a champion play for the two-star draw. The original Tome build offers earlier resource refills. Choose according to whether the opening needs mana or your eventual summon needs more value.
Star-power checkpoint
Six-star
Anointed by the Storm grants an Epic item when a card becomes a Conduit. Three-star
Calm Before the Storm II refreshes the Conduit designation after a Conduit play, and two-star
Winds of Reflection supplies starting mana plus champion-play draw. The generation-and-Portal package can work below six stars; this version includes the six-star random-item engine.
