Tryndamere: Call to Arms and repeated large entries
Tryndamere · from r/LegendsOfRuneterra · 2026-10-14
Double the stats of summoned allies for the round, then use the generated
Rally spell to attack again.
Build
Overview
Echoing Spirit and
Portal Pals are the core of a
Tryndamere resummoning build, with a flexible third slot. This build uses
Galeforce for
Scout and recycling him. This plan is different from buffing every follower in a large deck; mixing those draft priorities can make the summons less reliable.
The build
Echoing Spirit
Game Start: Create 7 copies of me in deck. Champion Spells cost 1 less.
More champion copies improve access to the engine and its champion spell. Copies in hand become spells while the champion is on board; the spell discount makes repeated casts easier.
Portal Pals
When I'm summoned, create 2 random 7+ cost units from your regions and reduce their cost by my base cost.
The entry creates discounted expensive units, providing another board-building payoff once the champion is available.
Galeforce
Scout. Round End: Shuffle me into your deck.
Scout supplies an additional attack opportunity. It shuffles the champion into the deck at Round End. Keep another copy or a draw plan if the attacks will not finish the encounter.
How to play
Bank enough mana to cast
Call to Arms and use its hand/deck manipulation to seek another
Tryndamere. Additional champion copies improve that chance, but do not guarantee the spell hits him. At six stars the spell also Rallies and each summoned ally doubles its stats for that round.
A summoned
Tryndamere triggers
Portal Pals, providing discounted large units. Summoning those units benefits from the sixth-star stat doubling too. Keep board and hand space for the chain rather than filling every slot with small followers first.
Scout supplies another attack, and the current
Galeforce shuffles the champion into the deck at Round End, where he can be summoned again. The doubled stats expire at Round End. Summoning through the spell does not activate Play-only relics.
Drafting and alternatives
For the champion-resummoning plan, trim weak cheap followers and avoid filling the deck with extra units that compete with
Tryndamere as the spell's target. Keep the champion-copy and discounted-unit relics together; the third slot depends on the encounter.
The Beast Within gives all allies
Overwhelm when the generated follower board needs Nexus reach.
Black Shield protects entries from removal.
Frozen Tomb offers a delayed champion summon that also activates the follower-generation relic.
An alternative
Warlord's Helmet plan focuses on buffs to the original deck instead. Don't count on the Helmet doubling
Stacked Deck's aura. How much extra starting mana speeds up the first
Rally depends on spell discounts and your opening hand.
Star-power checkpoint
When you summon an ally, double its stats this round. When you play
Call to Arms,
Rally.
