Twisted Fate: draw, repeat champion spells and clear with cards

Twisted Fate · from r/LegendsOfRuneterra · 2026-10-14

Use champion copies and damage amplification to turn draw into an expanding card engine.

Build

Needs 3★Champion level 30

Overview

Twisted Fate wants card draw and cheap plays to advance his champion and star-power engines. Extra champion copies, cheap generated cards and damage amplification all work, but deck-size relics don't count cards added at game start. This Aggressive Tempo loadout uses champion copies, team Overwhelm and spell-and-Skill damage.

The build

Echoing Spirit

Game Start: Create 7 copies of me in deck. Champion Spells cost 1 less.

Extra champion copies improve access to the engine and make his champion spell cheaper for repeated draws.

The Beast Within

Power: Allies have Overwhelm, and if they have a subtype, +1|+1.

Overwhelm helps the board turn its accumulated stats into damage rather than repeatedly hitting small blockers.

Big Guns

Power: Your spells and skills deal 1 extra damage.

The global extra damage improves the damaging cards and Skill produced by the draw-and-play plan.

How to play

Play Twisted Fate when his chosen card helps your opening: draw when you need engine pieces, or use the control card when a threat needs attention. Then use cheap cards and Pick a Card to continue drawing.

Watch the level-up counter and how many cards remain in your deck. After he levels, repeated cheap plays produce more card effects. Avoid drawing your last cards just to trigger one more effect: a duplicated champion spell can deck you out.

Drafting and alternatives

Frozen Tomb plus Chemtech Duplicator is a slower duplication alternative discussed there. Stacked Deck doesn't count the copies added by Echoing Spirit.

An optional constellation upgrade grants Power Riff to six-cost-or-higher cards you pick up during adventures. Draw can then make an expensive reward affordable. Huge first-turn boards need drafted buffs and more investment, so don't expect them from this three-star setup.

Remember: Stacked Deck doesn't count the extra champion copies created by Echoing Spirit at Game Start. The similarly worded interaction with Deck of Destiny was still discussed as uncertain, so do not present it as verified. Keep actual draw, hand space and remaining deck cards visible while chaining plays.

Star-power checkpoint

Wild Card II

When you play your third card each round, create a 1 cost Wild Card in hand.
