Vayne: Tumble into protected free attacks

This six-star build is the popular one for Vayne: Chosen by the Stars, Death's Foil and a spell-mana relic. Repeated attacks grow the champion, but attack Power can outpace Health. The protection relic gives her time to scale through oversized blockers, while Hidden Tome funds the initial Tumble.

Ally targeting and created-card plays build champion stats. Its ten-power threshold turns that scaling into combat reach and resilience; inspect the threshold before relying on those keywords.

Death's Foil

Attack protection keeps the champion available for repeated combats. It protects during attacks; do not assume it prevents every removal effect outside combat.

Hidden Tome

Power: When you play or level up a champion, refill your spell mana.

The play and level-up refill enables spells on the turn you establish the champion. A summon without the relevant trigger does not automatically supply that refill.

Develop Vayne with a useful equipment option and keep mana for Tumble. The play/level-up refill helps fund the initial attack spell, and the attack-protection relic keeps her available through large blockers. Targeted buffs and created-card plays build the scaling relic until its combat keywords are active.

Count the attacks needed for her level-up and use free attacks without wasting an existing attack token. At six stars attackers receive extra power for that combat, but the generated equipment and its random keyword still need to be inspected before choosing the attacker.

Keep Vayne, a usable Equipment and enough mana or discounts to cast Tumble on the setup turn. Cheap ally-targeted buffs and created cards advance the scaling relic. Her sixth star adds attack Power, so a big attack number doesn't mean she survives a large enemy's damage.

Lost Chapter is the rare alternative for the spell-mana slot. Its current Play trigger means a copied or revived champion does not automatically refill spell mana. The Beast Within supplies team Overwhelm when the whole board needs reach instead of waiting for the champion's Empowered threshold.

Players disagree about whether Death's Foil is essential: growth alone can handle smaller fights, while larger nightmares expose the Health problem. Its protection applies while attacking; it is not immunity to enemy spells outside combat. Stabilize or Shadow Totem can add another attacking copy, but first-turn finishes depend on those drafts and the opponent.
