Volibear: Titanic entries into repeated strikes

Volibear wants entry damage or protection; Portal Pals can be inconsistent. This six-star follower-board build runs The Beast Within and Stacked Deck; the generated units are random, not guaranteed Titanic followers.

The Beast Within

Power: Allies have Overwhelm, and if they have a subtype, +1|+1.

Team Overwhelm converts large units into Nexus damage through smaller blockers. Units with a subtype also receive the stated stat bonus.

Stacked Deck

+200 Starting Gold.
Power: Allies have +1|+1 for every 12 cards in your deck past 18 at game start.

The board gains stats from the number of cards in your starting deck. Drafting more useful cards strengthens later fights; cards added after game start are not automatically included in that count.

Portal Pals

When I'm summoned, create 2 random 7+ cost units from your regions and reduce their cost by my base cost.

The entry creates discounted expensive units, providing another board-building payoff once the champion is available.

Use removal and favorable trades to slay units and accumulate Sigil of the Storm. Play a Titanic unit when its entry Strike removes a threat. Titanic checks actual Power or Health; a high mana cost alone does not qualify. Starting-deck stat bonuses can help a smaller unit reach that threshold.

Summoning Volibear activates Portal Pals and creates discounted expensive units from your regions. The effect can create champions as well as followers. An extra Volibear in hand becomes his champion spell while he is on board, and a generated smaller unit may still not be Titanic. Read the actual result before committing the rest of your turn.

At six stars the Sigil stacks also add stats to a summoned Titanic ally. Spend the resulting removal and board advantage on an Overwhelm attack, preserving enough space for another useful entry.

Choose useful units and cost reductions without losing the cheap cards that secure early slays. Purchases improve Stacked Deck only through the deck's size at game start; they can also dilute the opening hand.

Stalker's Blade adds entry removal, and The Curator's Gatebreaker adds immediate Nexus damage. Gatebreaker now requires Play, so it does not activate on a summon-only entry. Banshee's Veil is a simple protection option while leveling.

Some players prefer Found Fortune to the random unit generator: draft a strong eligible card, then playing Volibear can draw it free with an Epic item. Check all competing eligible cards before relying on that target. These approaches trade the random hand refill for a more planned played-champion payoff.

Doom of All

When you summon a Titanic ally, grant it +2|+2 for each stack of Sigil of the Storm.
