Yuumi: Scout on a Fated carrier

Yuumi · from r/LegendsOfRuneterra · 2026-10-14

Attach Yuumi to a cheap carrier, grow it with targeted buffs and attack twice with Scout.

Build

Needs 3★Champion level 30

Overview

Build around Attach, cheap carriers and useful keywords. The detailed walkthrough uses Disciple of Shadows, Spirit of the Buhru and Galeforce. This is a Scout plan that works with three-star Fated growth, without needing the sixth-star board-sharing power.

The build

Disciple of Shadows

Allies on board reduce Yuumi's cost. The walkthrough explains that attaching her avoids this relic's Play damage: attach her to the carrier rather than playing her as a separate unit.

Spirit of the Buhru

Its global Power gives allies costing one or less Overwhelm, Quick Attack and Fury. A cheap carrier can therefore turn Fated growth into Nexus damage through blockers. Check the carrier's cost; the effect is not a blanket keyword grant to every ally.

Galeforce

Scout transfers to the carrier through Attach. Attach her avoids her on-board Round End effect. The relic now shuffles an unattached Yuumi into your deck instead of Recall her.

How to play

Keep a cheap carrier and inexpensive spells that target an ally. The starting small allies provide both a place to attach and a cost discount. Choose a carrier that can survive the next enemy action before spending your buffs on it.

Attach Yuumi, then target that ally to trigger Fated and its additional three-star buff. Scout lets the carrier attack first, followed by the normal attack. Overwhelm is particularly valuable once its stats outgrow blockers. Fated triggers once per round: several targeted spells do not produce several Fated triggers that round.

At six stars The Power of Friendship! grows allies to the strongest ally's stats for that round, so an established carrier can also support a wider attack. That is an upgrade to this plan, not its assumed starting point.

Drafting and alternatives

Favor cheap targeted buffs and durable carriers over expensive units that delay the attachment. Without the main relics, take extra stats and Spellshield. Troll King's Crown supplies team Overwhelm while the champion is in play; do not assume that on-board aura works while she is attached.

Players disagree on whether the cost-discount relic or the cheap-carrier keyword relic should be your first Epic. Fast kills depend on the starting board, mana and draft, so there's no fixed turn to win.

Star-power checkpoint

We Got This II

Allies have Fated. When you target a Fated ally, grant it an additional +1|+1. Choose a carrier and keep targeting it across rounds; the additional star-power grant and Fated's once-per-round trigger are distinct effects.
