Aurelion Sol: two created-spell engines

Aurelion Sol · from the PoC community · 2026-10-14

Generate free spells from Round Start and attack tokens, discount your whole champion hand and deploy levelled threats early.

Build

Needs 4★Champion level 30

Overview

Play created cards to discount every allied champion, then use the cheapest useful champion to keep your board and created-card engine moving. Perfect Hex Core gives a free targeted spell each round and Spellweaver's Symphony gives another when you gain the attack token.

It's his most popular combination in 10★ clears, guide builds and player votes. Compared with the Echoing Spirit guide, it trades extra main-champion copies for another dependable source of created cards, so drawing a support champion can still give you a strong opening.

The build

Perfect Hex Core

Round Start creates Hex Core Upgrade with Stopwatch and allows it to target any ally. Its zero cost makes it easy to trigger champion discounts, but you need a legal allied target. Develop an affordable unit first if the board is empty.

Spellweaver's Symphony

Gaining the attack token creates a random two-cost spell from your regions, makes it free and Fleeting. The spell still needs legal targets or conditions. It does not trigger merely because you declare another attack without gaining a token.

Starforged Gauntlets

The base champion is Titanic, activating an extra starting gem without other stat relics. With two-star mana, you start on three gems. Level 30 and three Epic slot upgrades equip the trio.

How to play

Keep cheap units, Spacey Sketcher and affordable created-card access. Put an ally into play before using the Upgrade, then inspect the generated spell before committing your mana. Each useful created-card play moves your entire champion hand closer to zero cost at three stars.

Play an affordable support champion when it improves your position instead of waiting only for Aurelion Sol. Champion plays trigger automatic level-up; a direct summon is not a play. At four stars, played units double their stats, and playing the main champion adds the board-clearing payoff.

Count the discounts already applied before deciding whether another cheap play lets you deploy a champion this round. A free spell with no legal target is not usable fuel. Keep hand and board space for generated cards and actual units.

Drafting and alternatives

Take useful low-cost created cards, cheap units, champion draw and removal. The best support package gives you something strong to play after the discounts rather than several expensive cards that need more setup.

Disciple of Shadows replacing Symphony discounts the main champion according to allies in play, but its Play effect damages those allies. Players disagree between that direct-deployment plan and generating spells for the whole champion hand. Echoing Spirit is his other guide's alternative when finding the main champion is the bigger problem. Neither alternative makes all generated spells automatically playable.

Star-power checkpoint

Four-star Breath of Light supplies the doubled unit stats and main-champion board clear described here. Three-star Astral Radiance II gives two champion-cost reduction per created card played. Two-star Cosmic Creator supplies starting mana and items on created cards. The two-spell discount engine already functions at three stars; four stars adds its large deployment payoff.
