Fiddlesticks: cheap attackers into Round End Terrify

Fiddlesticks · from community builds · 2026-10-18

Build a board of cheap attackers and created allies, then turn separate Nexus-damage events into Terrify, Gloom and Spirit.

Needs 6★Champion level 30

Overview

Draft inexpensive attackers and created allies, then accumulate Nexus-damage events before Round End. Nowhere is Safe II turns those events into Terrify, and Bountiful Harvest rewards each Terrify with enemy Gloom and allied Spirit.

The relics support the deck before Fiddlesticks appears. This six-star plan favors early pressure and useful shops over waiting for the duplicated champion-spell engine. The sixth-star defensive payoff is central; don't expect the same stability below it.

The build

Shock & Awe

Each attacking ally costing one or less produces a one-damage Nexus skill. Several qualifying attackers can therefore create several damage events, even when ordinary attacks are blocked. Check their current costs; the trigger does not apply to every unit on your board.

Norra's Portal Accelerator

Summoned created allies receive Impact. Created bodies from powers and Nightmares can contribute another damage event when they strike while attacking. Ordinary units drawn from your starting deck aren't automatically created allies. Its extra starting mana applies to its named champion, not to Fiddlesticks.

Loaded Dice

Three rerolls and a better chance to find Epic powers and items improve the draft. Save rerolls for useful support choices and shops as well as the opening power. This slot helps you find the engine's fuel; it does not itself deal damage or Terrify.

How to play

Keep an opening that can develop cheap attackers. Lurking Nightmare qualifies for the attack skill, while its Last Breath plants another Nightmare. Add created units when you can, and attack once the separate skill, Impact and combat hits will make progress.

The damage-count power resolves at Round End. You do not get its Gloom immediately when each one-damage skill resolves, so your attackers still need to survive the current combat. After the round ends, inspect the smaller enemy board and the ally that received Spirit before planning the next attack.

Count damage events rather than raw damage. A single hit dealing several damage is still one event. Multiple Impact stacks on one attacker increase that hit's damage; they don't become one event per stack. A skill reduced to zero damage by prevention doesn't add a successful Nexus-damage event.

Use the champion when a Nightmare brings him into play, but keep developing the deck's pressure instead of waiting for him. Combat damage can finish the fight before the opponent runs out of cards.

What to draft

Prioritize cheap units, powers that summon useful bodies, and support champions you can afford early. The Star of Legends bonus gives support champions an entry Nexus strike; the Star of Discovery bonus gives drafted followers Spirit and Impact. Those are separate constellation purchases, so check your owned nodes before relying on them.

The follower bonus can already supply Impact, reducing how much the portal relic adds to those particular units. It still helps other created bodies. A free summon only contributes an attack-skill ping if it also meets the cost requirement.

Take defensive Stun, Frostbite or Nexus protection when they let you reach the first Round End safely. A useful early power is often worth keeping rather than spending every reroll chasing one specific premium result.

Tough Nexus and missing relics

A Tough enemy Nexus can absorb the one-damage skill completely. In that situation, find a suitable skill-damage increase or another way to damage it; don't count prevented pings toward the Round End total. Check special boss rules before building an entire run around small hits.

If you lack the signature relics, use the champion-spell build instead. Adding a single ping relic to that loadout does not also provide the cheap attackers and created bodies this approach needs. You can also keep the damage relics and use the draft slot to address a particular adventure, but the opening draft becomes less flexible without the extra rerolls.
