Jack: Prize Fight growth with a steady supply of cards
Jack · from community builds · 2026-10-18
Use repeatable champion spells and
Fleeting draws to keep spending Coins while
Prize Fight grows the champion.
At a glance
Overview
Keep
Jack supplied with cards, turn nonlethal strikes into permanent stats, and use mana refills to clear small enemies. This all-Rare setup addresses the point where you have Coins and mana available but nothing useful left to play.
Unlike the Condenser rally build, it doesn't depend on copying an attack engine. Three stars gives the enemy damage on mana refill, while the two-star generated
Prize Fight helps produce strikes and Coins. The main costs are slower card generation and having to keep the champion alive.
The build
The Grand General's Counterplan
A
Fleeting champion copy each Round Start becomes the champion spell while the champion is in play. This supplies another way to spend mana and continue interacting instead of relying only on naturally drawn cards.
The Gravedigger's Spade
Draws an extra card at Round Start and makes it
Fleeting. It improves access to plays, but the draw expires if unused. Empty enough hand space before the next round rather than burning a card you needed to keep.
The Berserker's Buckle
Whenever the bearer survives damage, grant him two Power and two Health. A nonlethal
Prize Fight is a natural trigger when its strike actually deals damage. Zero damage isn't a survival-damage trigger, and this relic doesn't independently prevent lethal removal.
Manage Coins and survival
Mulligan for a playable opening, the champion and useful interaction. Once he is down, use a generated
Prize Fight to strike an enemy, gain a
Coin and grow through the Buckle. The fight itself keeps its participants above zero Health from those strikes; other damage or removal can still threaten them afterward.
Refill after spending some mana so the refill is useful. Separate Coin casts can produce more refill triggers, but a stack of Coins is still one card. Don't describe a large stack as several independent spell plays or damage triggers.
The champion levels after twelve mana spent in one round. Check how many cards and Coins you have before beginning that sequence. You can have plenty of theoretical mana and still fail the level-up because you ran out of playable cards. The next Round Start supplies more resources, so keep enough defense to get there.
Turn resources into damage
At three stars, a mana refill gives allies temporary Power and damages all enemies. A sequence of small useful refills can clear a board while strengthening an attack. It doesn't directly damage the enemy Nexus by that star power alone.
The champion heals according to mana actually refilled. Spend before refilling when possible, and don't rely on a full mana bank to generate the same healing as an empty one. Buffs from the Buckle are permanent, while the refill-based attack bonuses expire at Round End.
Look for a way to connect with that large attacker, along with cheap plays and draw. Keep a defender when the enemy can attack before your next refill heals the champion.
Relic access and substitutions
The Counterplan is the reward from
Vi's two-star campaign, and the Spade from
Illaoi's two-star campaign. The Buckle is in the Rare pool. All three Rare slots are available at level thirty.
Archangel's Staff can replace the draw slot when spell mana is the actual bottleneck, but you lose the extra card.
Chosen by the Stars is another scaling option once you own it, adding its combat keywords when the Power threshold is met. Choose around the resource your hand is missing rather than assuming more mana always solves the problem.
