Jinx: Guardian Angel and a second Payload

Jinx · from the PoC community · 2026-10-14

Trade one Plunder discount for Deathless, preserving Jinx through a lethal hit and triggering another hand-to-burn conversion.

Build

Needs 4★Champion level 30

Overview

Guardian Angel gives the champion Deathless, letting a lethal hit produce another summon and another The Loose Cannon's Payload trigger. The Scourge's Stash keeps the initial play affordable after Nexus damage.

Players recommend the revive-and-discard plan alongside faster double-discount builds. The existing guide can play the champion for zero under Plunder; this version normally pays two and gains a Deathless return. Current Guardian Angel is not the old separate revival effect, so historical multi-copy infinite sequences do not follow from this trio alone.

The build

Guardian Angel

Grants +0|+2, Deathless and two adventure revives. The adventure revives recover lost encounters; they are separate from the unit’s Deathless. A Deathless return consumes that keyword and does not continually refresh it.

The Loose Cannon's Payload

On summon, discard the hand and replace its cards with Pow-Pow. Each discard activates the star power, and the hand briefly empties to level the champion. Returning through Deathless triggers another conversion, but an already-levelled champion does not level up again.

The Scourge's Stash

Plunder reduces the initial cost by two. Level 30 equips these three Rare relics without Epic upgrades; the level-nine Mana Potion upgrade also makes Pow-Pow cheaper.

How to play

Keep Jinx and an opening play such as Jury-Rig. Its level-21 Farsight Alteration improves access. Playing a card damages the enemy Nexus through the star power, activating Plunder if the damage lands. At four stars, spell mana can pay for the setup while preserving two unit mana for the champion.

Before entry, decide which hand cards you want to use and how many Pow-Pows the remainder will produce. Save enough mana for Super Mega Death Rocket! or other necessary damage. A larger discard is useful only if it helps finish or control the fight.

Use Pow-Pow on your own champion only when the Deathless return’s discard burst is worth the cost. Check actual Health and damage, especially with the relic’s extra Health and six-star spell damage. The returned unit is Stun, and its Deathless is spent; do not kill it again expecting another automatic return.

Against decks that punish discards or empty your deck quickly, time the first Payload for a strong finish rather than automatically playing it at the first opportunity.

Drafting and alternatives

Prioritize spell discounts, useful damage and enough draw to maintain a finish. Avoid needless draw when decking out is the threat. Packed Powder restores the faster double-discount plan if you replace Guardian Angel.

The Grand General's Counterplan is a different way to get replacement champion copies each Round Start. It costs a slot and requires paying to replay them. Old Guardian Angel videos show loops that the current Deathless version doesn't guarantee, so don't count on an infinite reset.

Star-power checkpoint

Four-star Sorcery refills spell mana at Round Start for the setup-and-burn turns described here. Three-star What's the Worst that Could Happen? II damages the Nexus and a random enemy on each play or discard. Two-star Wreak Havoc creates a rocket when a champion levels. Six-star Get Jinxed! doubles spell and Skill damage, improving the finish without being required for the Deathless/Payload interaction.
