Neeko: copy the champion and stack Epic items
Neeko · from community builds · 2026-10-18
Echoing Spirit and two Guardian’s Orbs turn repeated champion-spell summons into an expanding item engine.
At a glance
Overview
Play
Neeko in her own form, then use
Shapesplitter to summon more copies of her and trigger two
Guardian's Orb effects on each new body. The items strengthen cards in your deck and can give later summons a much larger payoff.
This plan works at three stars and concentrates on repeated champion summons. It has a different goal from the six-star subtype attack build: you don't need to assemble different attacking subtypes before the item engine starts. Random item placement makes its opening less predictable.
The build
Echoing Spirit
The extra champion copies improve access to the champion and supply cheaper champion spells while she is in play. Keeping more copies of her in the deck also gives the random item effects more opportunities to land on the card you plan to keep summoning.
Two
Guardian's Orb
Each relic grants Epic items to three random cards in the deck whenever the champion is summoned. Two copies therefore give two separate item-grant effects per summon. Rare relic duplicates are allowed; these are two equipped copies of the same relic.
Unlike a Play effect, the item trigger works when
Shapesplitter summons an exact copy of the champion. Play her as herself rather than disguising her as a follower, so the champion and relic interactions remain available.
How to play
- Mulligan for multiple champion copies and a playable opening. At three stars,
Harmony of the Wild II can discount the first qualifying ally each round by two, but it is not a discount on every unit you play. - Play
Neeko in her base form. Inspect which cards received the first items before planning the rest of the turn. - Use a spare champion as the champion spell and target your champion with
Shapesplitter. The new exact copy supplies another pair of item triggers. - Keep repeating only while you have spells, mana and board space. Exact copies are
Ephemeral, so check their survival and combat consequences before committing an attack.
Your aim is a useful chain of summons, not an automatic infinite. A hand with only one champion and no copy spell cannot begin the same sequence. Take a strong attack when the rolled items already give you enough damage; extra casts can consume the resources needed to defend.
Drafting and awkward items
Favor champion copies, draw and affordable duplication. Cut cards that don't help you survive or keep summoning the champion, so the random items are less likely to improve cards you won't use. Don't remove your last defensive tools while the engine is still inconsistent.
Inspect the current items on the champion after each round of triggers. An item that makes a summoned unit strike an enemy can kill an
Ephemeral copy early, shortening the sequence. Extra item rolls are not always a better outcome than taking the attack you already have.
Wallop buys time against a large attacker. The sixth-star attack skill adds another payoff if you own it, but extra subtypes on one attacker still don't turn that one body into several attackers for its damage count.
Without Echoing Spirit
Use
The Grand General's Counterplan with the two
Guardian's Orb copies for an all-Rare version. Leave the champion in play at Round Start to receive a
Fleeting champion copy, then use the champion spell for another summon. This supplies cards over several rounds rather than adding seven copies and discounting champion spells at Game Start.
The trade-off is time: the recurring copy needs the champion to survive until the next round. Neither version guarantees the right Epic items before an aggressive enemy attacks.
