Overview
Reach
Chemtech Duplicator's six-mana-gem threshold earlier with
Luminous Orb and
Starforged Gauntlets. Once duplication is active, copied draw, Coin generation and control spells help you spend enough mana for team buffs and
Rally.
This is his most popular trio across collected clears, guide builds and player scores. His existing spell guide supplies recurring champion copies and spell mana; this version trades those resources for an extra starting gem. You still need useful cards to spend the mana on, so protect your board and draw engine while ramping.
The build
Luminous Orb
The +0|+3 takes the base five-health champion to eight health, meeting Titanic before the game begins.
Sharpsight also improves blocking against
Elusive units. The starting stat bonus is required for the Gauntlets, rather than a buff you hope to draw later.
Starforged Gauntlets
With the equipped champion Titanic in hand or deck at Game Start, gain +1 starting mana. At two stars that means three starting gems; the separate five-star mana gem raises the opening to four. The relic works even if you never draw or play the champion.
Chemtech Duplicator
When you play a spell with six or more mana gems, copy it with the same targets. Six mana spent in the round is not the same condition. Copied Coin-generating spells give you more refills for later plays, but refilling mana against a full pool wastes value. Level 30 opens the third Rare slot, and the Gauntlets slot needs one epic upgrade.
How to play
Keep early blockers and
Tag Out!. Its level-15
Sapphire Crystal helps you gain a mana gem and reach duplication sooner, provided the spell has a useful legal target. Do not bounce your only blocker if the enemy attack will then kill you.
Bank spell mana where safe and save
Place Your Bets for a strong duplication turn when you can afford to wait. More draw and Coin generation can fuel several useful plays. Track the round's total mana spent: the six-mana team buff rewards keeping several allies alive, while twelve spent unlocks
Rally.
Use
Coin when there is room for its refill, then spend that mana on development or control. When you own six stars, play a single Coin with at least five stacks to summon
Sett; five separate one-stack Coin plays do not substitute for that requirement. Without six stars, plan to pay for the champion normally. Reassess blockers before taking a
Rally on the enemy's round.
Drafting and alternatives
Draft draw, useful spells and extra mana. If you own the upgrade that gives newly acquired four-cost-or-more spells
Cashback, those spells can replenish your Coin supply while providing summons or control. Keep enough units for the team buffs instead of turning the whole deck into refills.
His other guide uses
The Grand General's Counterplan and
Archangel's Staff for recurring spells.
The Beast Within is an alternative when large enemies keep absorbing your buffed attacks, but replacing a ramp piece can delay Chemtech. Choose around whether your run needs earlier resources, more cards or a way through blockers.
Star-power checkpoint
Knuckle Up II at three stars grants allies +2|+2 after six mana spent in a round and Rallies after twelve. These are spending thresholds, separate from Chemtech's six gems.
Bet on Sett supplies starting mana and a Coin each Round Start. Six-star
Hired Muscle adds the stacked-Coin champion summon; it is optional for the basic ramp-and-Rally plan.
