Shen: Titanic ramp and Loaded Dice

Shen · from the PoC community · 2026-10-14

Start with extra mana, reroll for spell support and build a protected board around repeated Barrier.

Build

Needs 5★Champion level 30

Overview

Make the champion Titanic before Game Start with Luminous Orb, then let Starforged Gauntlets accelerate your development. Loaded Dice gives more chances to find the spell resources and combat tools this deck wants.

It's his most popular build, with a recorded 10★ clear, and the Orb-and-Gauntlets pair is a popular combination. Compared with the existing protection guide, this version spends two slots on earlier mana and its third on improving run rewards rather than direct protection.

The build

Luminous Orb

The +0|+3 raises the base five health to eight, meeting Titanic before Game Start. Sharpsight lets the champion block Elusive attackers, a useful answer when your other units cannot.

Starforged Gauntlets

A Titanic equipped champion grants +1 starting mana. Together with two-star starting mana, you begin with three gems; five-star Manaflow makes four, enough to play the four-cost champion immediately. The bonus works from the deck without drawing him.

Loaded Dice

Three extra rerolls and an increased chance of Epic powers and items improve your choices across the adventure. They do not guarantee a particular reward. Spend rerolls on options that solve the current deck's mana, removal or finishing problem. Level 30 opens the third Rare slot; both Epic relic slots require upgrades.

How to play

Keep Shen when you can develop him safely, plus early allies and cheap spell support. A first-round champion uses all four starting gems at five stars, so check the enemy board before committing without mana left for tricks.

Play Moral Support before another spell when you need a fresh copy: the two-star power creates it only when you do not already hold one. Use Barrier to make profitable blocks, then attack with a useful ally beside the champion so his Support grants another Barrier. At three stars, supporting an ally that already has Barrier gives a larger permanent buff.

Ki Guardian prepares a unit in hand, while Syncopation changes which ally faces a dangerous attacker or blocker. At six stars, use Shadow Dash to turn Barrier blocks into Nexus damage. Spend Moral Support first when you want Dash to replenish it.

Drafting and alternatives

Prefer cheap spells, spell mana, removal and a way for your growing allies to reach the Nexus. Swole Squirrel is a strong recipient of strike effects and Overwhelm. Avoid stuffing the deck with expensive spells merely because you can generate another Barrier afterward.

Kinkou Tradition is a protection-and-mana alternative; its in-play benefits require its carrier on the board. Perfect Hex Core supplies a free targeted spell each round, helping trigger another Barrier spell and the four-star strike power. This is a Power, so it works before its carrier enters play. Archangel's Staff supplies spell mana once its carrier is in play at Round Start. Replacing Dice keeps the Titanic ramp pair intact. Replacing Orb can turn off the starting gem, so check the champion's actual Game Start stats.

Star-power checkpoint

Five-star Manaflow is the checkpoint for the four-gem opening described here. Kinkou Tutelage II supplies the other starting gem and repeated Moral Support; Kinkou Tutelage improves Barrier and Support buffs. Six-star Twilight Assault adds Shadow Dash and Nexus strikes from Barrier blockers, but the ramp-and-reroll plan works before it.
