Taliyah: discounted Tomb copies and a level-up Stun

Taliyah · from the PoC community · 2026-10-14

Play the champion early enough to copy the starting Landmark, then use her level-up Stun to create an attack window.

Build

Needs 3★Champion level 30

Overview

Use Disciple of Shadows to afford the champion before the starting Frozen Tomb Landmark finishes counting down. Copy that Landmark on play, then use Tempest Blade to Stun the enemy board when the champion levels.

It's her most popular build in 10★ clears. Copying the Tomb and finishing with a level-up Stun are both proven plays. Compared with the spell-damage guide, it trades damage amplification for earlier deployment and an opening through blockers.

The build

Disciple of Shadows

The carrier costs one less for each ally in play, then deals three to all other allies when played. Units provide the discount; Landmark do not. The damage can kill your own blockers, so count the surviving board before accepting an attractive discount.

Frozen Tomb

Game Start summons Stormcarved Spire with Countdown four to summon the champion. Playing her from hand while the Landmark still exists can copy it, creating a second delayed champion. Directly summoning her from the Spire does not trigger her Play ability or Disciple's damage.

Tempest Blade

When the carrier levels, Stun all enemies. Time the five-landmark level-up for an attack window rather than spending it after combat is already over. It gives no Rally by itself. Level 30 opens the third Rare slot; the other two slots need Epic upgrades.

How to play

Keep cheap Landmark, early units and Taliyah when you can realistically play her before the Spire expires. Ancient Preparations and Hibernating Rockbear help the Landmark count, while Rock Hopper develops a unit and Landmark together.

Count units for the Disciple discount, inspect how much health they will retain after three damage, and reserve space for the champion and copied Landmark. The discount may let you copy the Spire sooner; do not advance it to completion before that play if copying it is your plan.

Use Clockwork Curator or Imagined Possibilities when advancing the Landmark helps your next summon or attack. Once five Landmark have been summoned, a levelling carrier triggers the board Stun. Stun enemies already in play cannot block a new attack that round, but newly summoned enemies and enemy interaction can still interfere.

Drafting and alternatives

Draft useful early units, cheap Landmark, cost reduction and enough defense to reach the payoff. More Landmark help the level-up but occupy slots your champions and Rockbears need. Desert Naturalist offers Landmark interaction and another way to convert a board slot.

Crownguard Inheritance is a separate level-up Rally option. Laurent Bladerack helps your large followers choose trades, while Luden's Tempest restores the skill-damage focus of her other guide. If you remove Disciple, plan another way to afford the champion before the Spire disappears; copying it is not automatic on every opening.

Star-power checkpoint

Three-star Good Morning, Grumpy II supplies team stats and Overwhelm, helping the Stun window become a finish. Two-star Recycled Stone supplies mana and attack growth when allied Landmark are destroyed. Six-star Throw Another Rock! adds attack skills and landmark-based damage; this level-up-control plan does not require that additional damage engine.
