Ahri: free replays and a Found Fortune recall loop

Ahri · from community builds · 2026-10-18

Use six-star Recall strikes to activate Plunder, then replay Ahri for free and draw more fuel for the next Recall.

At a glance

Needs 6★Champion level 30

Overview

Ahri can deal Nexus damage without attacking: Parting Gift makes an ally strike the enemy Nexus when you Recall it. Equip Packed Powder so that damage unlocks free champion replays, and use Found Fortune to draw a free card each time you play her.

This plan needs the sixth-star power and three Epic relic slots. It trades the doubling spell and entry strike of the earlier build for draw, discounts and damage on Recall. A long chain can finish a fight in one round, but an uninterrupted infinite depends on your draws, items and available targets.

The build

Echoing Spirit

Seven extra champion copies help you find Ahri and turn spare copies into cheaper champion spells while she is in play. Mulligan for the champion and enough Recall access to start the sequence.

Found Fortune

Every Play draws the highest-cost eligible card below the champion's base cost, grants it an Epic item and makes it free. At level 21, Charm receives its cost-reduction item and becomes an eligible one-cost target. Other one-cost cards compete with it.

Packed Powder

Plunder reduces the champion's cost by two after you damage the enemy Nexus that round. The first six-star Recall strike can switch this on. Its stat bonus counts different rounds with Nexus damage, so repeated strikes in one round don't add a new stat stack each time.

Starting and repeating the sequence

  1. Keep enough unit mana for the first Ahri. Plunder cannot fund that first play until you have actually damaged the enemy Nexus.
  2. Play her, inspect the card drawn by Found Fortune, and find a legal way to Recall her. A spare champion in hand supplies a champion spell; a drawn Charm can also do the job.
  3. The sixth-star strike damages the Nexus on Recall. With Plunder active, replay the champion at the reduced cost and collect the next draw.
  4. Repeat while you have Recall effects and valid targets. Whispers From Past Lives preserves permanent buffs and keywords through Recall, and Spirit's Blessing II adds Spirit on both summon and Recall.

Charm also needs an enemy to receive Vulnerable. An empty enemy board can interrupt that particular line. Check the hand and targets before spending your last Recall effect; ordinary attacks remain a useful finish when the chain stops.

Keep the draw pool useful

Cut competing one-cost cards when you can safely give up their early utility, and avoid drafting more of them just for their stats. Extra copies of Charm improve access to the spell you want. Dancing Droplet provides a different source of draw when Recall, but it also competes for the entry draw.

Cost reductions and useful spell items extend the sequence. The random Epic item from Found Fortune is a bonus, not a promise of a particular duplication effect. Build a line that works with the item actually rolled.

An expensive drafted card doesn't automatically interfere: inspect whether its current cost makes it eligible. The draw threshold uses the champion's base cost, not her current Plunder discount.

When to use another plan

Below six stars, Recall the champion does not provide this build's automatic Nexus strike. Use the doubling-spell build or the board-control build instead of expecting the same loop.

Removal that interrupts Recall, restrictions on repeated card plays, and damage prevention can all disrupt the sequence. Save a backup champion when possible and calculate whether the Nexus strike actually deals damage before relying on Plunder. The first encounter can be less consistent than later fights because you haven't yet trimmed the draw pool.
